After many sold out tours to Egypt, Sue has created a brand new itinerary for those who have been to Egypt before with her or on other travels.
The sites visited offer a different experience including a cruise on Lake Nasser starting with the spectacular Sound & Light Show in Abu Simbel, often considered to be the best in Egypt.
We will still have the exclusive access to the Paws of the Sphinx for meditation with Sue to begin the journey.

**this tour is open to all Egypt lovers, there is no pre-requisite to have been on one of Sue's tours or attended her courses before.

Day 1: Arrival Day

From learning about the Pharaohs in school to watching classic adventure movies with our parents, Egypt is a destination that excites the child in all of us. 
Welcome to the history and mystery of this Ancient Land – The Land of the Pharaohs. Welcome to Egypt!

Our Pink Lotus Tours airport representative will be there to meet you upon arrival in Cairo International Airport.
He will assist you with arrival procedures including the purchase of your entrance visa. (Entrance visa is currently USD25, please ensure you have the cash with you to give to the representative on arrival).
After collecting your luggage, you will be transferred to your Cairo hotel. 
The drive to the hotel takes around an hour and it's a one-of-a-kind experience! 

In the evening, you will meet with Sue, Terrell and your Tour Guide to discuss our upcoming journey then enjoy our ‘Welcome Dinner’ of authentic Egyptian Cuisine at a local restaurant.

Day 2: Saqqara & Serapeum

Monday 20th October 2025
Breakfast then checkout from hotel
Saqqara opens the portal to communication, growth and speaking one’s higher personal truth; it is where the ancient Egyptians activate or refresh their throat chakra.
It was also a center of the sound healing in ancient Egypt.
-Visit the Step Pyramid of Saqqara, the world's oldest major stone structure. 
Enter inside the Step Pyramid, only recently opened to visitors after many years of restoration.
 -Visit Pyramid of Unas, this pyramid is very significant for having the first example of funerary texts known as Pyramid Texts. 
 -Visit the mysterious Serapeum  
A tradition Egyptian lunch will be served at a local restaurant. 
Before returning to our hotel, we will meet with a gifted and highly respected Egyptian Healer, Seer and Reiki Master for private workshop learning about some of the Sacred Oils used in the ceremonies at the Temples and Tombs in Ancient times.  We will learn the uses and benefits of the oils and the 7 Chakras.

Day 3: Private Access to Sphinx /Fayoum Desert Adventure

Tuesday 21st October 2025
6am PRIVATE VISIT: Early morning visit to the Sphinx. We have been granted very special access not normally available to the general public. We will have the privilege of experiencing a guided meditation with Sue with just our group in between the Paws of the mighty Sphinx.
The Sphinx was widely believed to have been an oracle. Between its paws is a 15th-century BC stone tablet called a ‘Dream Stela’ recounting a vision given to a prince who slept in the shadow of the Sphinx and later became a pharaoh.
The sphinx is the gatekeeper and protector of the Egyptian mysteries. Your divine plan, your holy of holies resides within the sphinx throughout all time and space.
You’ll be gifted an amplitude Consciousness that will assist you in your becoming and in attracting people, places and opportunities that will support your unfolding in amazing ways. Moreover, you’ll recognize that you are the key that unlocks certain experiences, people and places that are in alignment with your essence and life purpose.
Later today we will explore the Giza Plateau, your chance to personally stand where the Ancient Egyptians stood thousands of years ago, next to the Great Pyramid of Cheops, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World and the only one that still exists.

Fayoum Desert Experience
Kom El Dikka Agri Lodge-An Authentic Agri-Tourism Experience
A 45-acre Olive Farm located on the hills of Tunis Village in Fayoum overlooking Lake Qarun.
Kom El Dikka accommodates guests in a few secluded locations on the hills of the estate overlooking Lake Qarun.
All architecture is in Earth/Islamic design, which is both beautiful and functional, especially in managing hot and dry weather. Making it feel warmer in winter and cooler in summer than the outside temperature.

Day 4: Fayoum Desert Experience

Wednesday 22nd October 2025
4WD Jeep Safari, Desert Experience, Magic Lake, Lake Qarun, Valley of the Whales 
After a delicious breakfast we will climb into the 4WD Jeep's to explore the vast desert of Fayoum and surrounding lakes and magical landscapes including waterfalls.
We will then drive to the unique site of The Valley of the Whales for lunch.
Wadi Al-Hitan in Egypt’s Western Desert is the only place in the world where the skeletons of families of archaic whales can be seen in their original geological and geographic setting of the shallow nutrient-rich bay of a sea of some 40 million years ago. The fossils and sediments of different periods and levels reveal many millions of years of life.
Return to Kom el Dikka for dinner and toasted marshmellows by the fire.

Day 5: Fayoum Desert Experience

Thursday 23rd October 2025
Breakfast at lodge 
Egyptian Bread Making Class 
Visit Tunis Village and see local pottery artists.
We will visit a Pottery School created in the 1980's by Evelyne Porret, A Swiss woman who opened her own Pottery Studio with her husband, and very quickly turned it into a Pottery School to teach all the local children how to make pottery items and encourage them to become budding Potters.
Evelyn has passed on since however the school remains with students of Evelyn passing on their skills and knowledge to teach the children in the village and keep the community thriving.
As a company Pink Lotus Tours is supportive of these local facilities that enable the locals to gain a skill and earn income for their families. We appreciate you supporting them on your visit.

Day 6: Flight to Aswan/Abu Simbel

Our flight will be via Aswan the disembarking in Abu Simbel
Transfer from airport to cruise dock by road.
 
Discover the holy sites of Upper Egypt in elegance and luxury on the Omar El Khayam. The 5-star deluxe ship is one of Lake Nasser's pearls. Unforgettable feel-good experiences of a very special kind await you in the ship's own Cleopatra Spa. If you appreciate a stimulating conversation with your fellow passengers, you can agree to meet up for a game in the inviting billiard room. Enjoy the unique views over the panorama of Upper Egypt from the sun deck, where you can also cool down in the pool. During your stay on board the team of chefs in the main restaurant, Abu Nawas, will tempt your palate with delicacies from Egypt and specialties of international cuisine. You can round off an eventful day in style in one of the two lounge bars or you can also try the whirlpool and the pool bar, where the barkeeper will serve you refreshing drinks.
Please note it is quite a distance between Abu Simbel and Aswan so there is plenty of time to enjoy the boat and its facilities. You will disembark the boat each day.

Day 7: Lake Nasser Cruise

Saturday 25th October 2025
Lake Nasser is a vast reservoir on the Nile River in southern Egypt and northern Sudan. It was created by the impounding of the Nile’s waters by the Aswan High Dam, which was built in the 1960s. It is one of the largest man-made lakes in the world, covering a total surface area of 5,250 km2 (2,030 sq mi). The creation of Lake Nasser threatened to submerge a number of significant historical sites, notably Philae and Abu Simbel, under its waters. Under a colossal international project coordinated by UNESCO, the ancient monuments of Nubia were dismantled and reconstructed on safer ground.

Day 9: Disembark Cruise and drive to Luxor

Visit of Kalabsha and Beit el Wali

Aswan to Luxor by road, visiting Edfu Temple before arriving to Luxor.
Edfu Temple, the crown jewel of a magical mythical city of Aswan, where the legend of the past is awakened in the most incredible manner across a heavenly wonder.
Edfu temple represents a lost art that showcases the true spirit of Ancient Egypt, and it was built on the land believed to have witnessed the greatest battle in the history of the ancient Egyptian Mythology between the powers of good and evil (Horus & Seth).
Check-in to Luxor hotel then free-time to wander and explore.

Day 10: West Bank & Luxor Museum

Tuesday 28th October 2025
OPTIONAL Hot Air Balloon over Valley of the Kings (cost approx. USD100-120)
Enjoy a visit to the Valley of the Queens, including the tomb of Nefertari.
After that, we visit the Valley of Nobles, that shows beautiful stories of everyday life as well as the immense dedication, reverence and faith the common people held for their Gods and Goddesses, and the important roles they played not only daily life but the afterlife.

Day 11: Karnak Temples drive to Abydos

Wednesday 29th October 2025
Early morning visit to Karnak Temples, represents your Solar Plexus and Inner Resonance
Temple of Mut and Forest of Sekhmets
At Karnak we will also visit the Temple of Ptah and the chapel dedicated to the Goddess Sekhmet
(This is a locked temple and subject to availability)
Although the walls have fallen into ruins and the Gods, Goddesses and their priests have deserted their houses and temples, the magic is still present.
In ancient times people used to travel to Karnak looking for answers. Karnak has a lot to offer but the most important to be yourself.
Drive to the House of Life Hotel, next door to Abydos Temple.
Late lunch, early dinner, will be ready upon arrival

Day 12: Abydos Temple of Seti 1

Thursday 30th October 2025
After breakfast, visit Abydos, the Temple of Seti 1 and considered to one of the most sacred sites in all of Egypt.
Abydos is also known as the cult center of the god Osiris and gateway to the underworld (believed to lie under the nearby hills), it was a popular place of pilgrimage and burial.  Here you will connect to your heart center to engage fully with your life and also work with the Flower of Life.
Back to the hotel, for check out, lunch and drive to Luxor airport to fly back to Cairo.

Day 13: Museums Day

NMEC/Grand Egyptian Museum Friday 31st October 2025
NMEC – NATIONAL MUSEUM OF EGYPTIAN CIVILISATION
The NMEC is the first of its kind in Egypt and the Arab world. It presents the full range of the richness and diversity of Egyptian civilization throughout the ages, from prehistoric times to the present day.
 The museum’s exceptional collection includes the royal mummies, which are exhibited in a new interactive display using 21st century cutting-edge technology.
GRAND EGYPTIAN MUSEUM
Piece de resistance, the best of the best, the largest archaeological museum in the world located just near the Great Pyramid of Giza
The main attraction will be the first exhibition of the full tomb collection of King Tutankhamun.
The collection includes about 5,000 items in total and will be relocated from the Egyptian Museum in Cairo. 
Your guide will give you a tour of the highlighted pieces then leave you free to explore the vast complex.
There are a number of restaurants and coffee shops within the complex along with shops and displays of Egyptian made arts and crafts.
We will finish the day with dinner in a local Egyptian restaurant.
