Linda Usope, International Psychic Medium, Master Teacher, Hypnotherapist, Past Life Therapist, Meditation Instructor and Reiki Master invites you to join a spiritual adventure to Ancient Egypt. 
Linda will assist with connecting you to the knowledge of the past with a meditation between the Paws of the Sphinx, taking yiu back to where you came from and teaching you to connect with your spirit guides.
Accompanying Linda on the journey will be Sound Therapist Andrew Lawson. You will also enjoy sound meditations in the desert with Andrew as you connect to the sounds of this ancient land.

Day 1: Arrival Day

Arrival Friday 7th February 2025
You will be met at Cairo International Airport and transferred to your hotel. 
Your VIP treatment starts as soon as you leave the airplane with our representative waiting to meet you before immigration.
He will then assist you with collecting your bags, passing through customs to your waiting air-conditioned transport.
Around 6PM we will meet to transfer to local restaurant to enjoy our ‘Welcome Dinner’ of authentic Egyptian Cuisine at a local restaurant.

We recommend you arrive a day earlier to rest and adjust to new time zone. Day 2 sightseeing is quite a full day!
If you arrive on Friday 7th, please ensure flight arrives by midday.

Day 2: Step Pyramid at Saqqara - Dahshur Pyramids

Saturday 8th February 2025
Breakfast at hotel.
Visit the Step Pyramid of Saqqara, the world's oldest major stone structure. 
It was built in the 3rd Dynasty (around 2700 BC) for King Zoser.   
The ancient necropolis of Saqqara is famous for its sound healing.
Enter inside the Step Pyramid, only recently opened to visitors after many years of restoration.
Visit Pyramid of Unas, this pyramid is very significant for having the first example of funerary texts known as Pyramid Texts. These texts were inscribed on the walls of the burial chamber and assisted the deceased pharaoh in his journey to the afterlife through instructive spells.
The Serapeum at Saqqara 
OPTIONAL VISIT: Saqqara is world famous for its traditional carpet making schools so we will visit one while in the area.
A tradition Egyptian lunch will be served at a local restaurant. 
Dahshur, home to the Red & Bent Pyramids
Bent Pyramid is one of the pyramids built by King Sneferu, the first king of the 4th dynasty. 
It was called “bent” because of its broken lines due to a change of angle, an engineering issue in its design.
The Red Pyramid was one of three pyramids built by King Sneferu after the Bent Pyramid, located one kilometre to the south, and the so-called Meidum pyramid.
This pyramid may have been started in the 13th year of his reign, taking 10 years to be built.
The day is not over yet, we will visit the government regulated Papyrus Institute. 
We will now experience how the ancients recorded their history on the first paper ever produced.
See the processes and efforts it took to make this ancient form of paper. 
Also, enjoy the beautiful illustrative Egyptian art and stories painted depicting Egyptian lifestyle and culture.

Day 3: Private Access to Sphinx

Sunday 9th February 2025          
6am PRIVATE VISIT: Early morning visit to the Sphinx. We have been granted very special access not normally available to the general public. We will have the privilege of experiencing a guided meditation with Linda with just our group in between the Paws of the mighty Sphinx. The Sphinx was widely believed to have been an oracle. Between its paws is a 15th-century BC stone tablet called a ‘Dream Stela’ recounting a vision given to a prince who slept in the shadow of the Sphinx and later became a pharaoh.
Today we will explore the Giza Plateau, your chance to personally stand where the Ancient Egyptians stood thousands of years ago, next to the Great Pyramid of Cheops, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World and the only one that still exists.

-Climb high into the Kings Chamber of the Great Pyramid

Sacred Oils Workshop. Before returning to our hotel we will meet with a gifted and highly respected Egyptian Healer, Seer and Reiki Master for private workshop learning about some of the Sacred Oils used in the ceremonies at the Temples and Tombs in Ancient times.  We will learn the uses and benefits of the oils and the 7 Chakras.

Day 4: Aswan

Monday 10th February 2025
Breakfast at hotel then checkout
Morning flight south to Aswan, (internal flights included).    Transfer to our hotel in Aswan.
For a unique local experience, we have chosen a Nubian Guesthouse on the edge of the Nile River     
We will join a local family for an early dinner to immerse ourselves in the local culture and hear stories of their life in Nubia, with all its traditions

Day 5: Abu Simbel

Tuesday 11th February 2025
An early start today, so we can explore Abu Simbel. Great Temple of Ramses II, carved in the mountain on the west bank of the Nile between 1274 and 1244 BC and dedicated to the gods Ra-Horakhty, Amun and Ptah. This temple is aligned in such a way that, twice a year the first rays of the rising sun penetrate the temple, through the vestibule and into the sanctuary, where they illuminate the figures of the gods except Ptah. The Temple of Hathor is dedicated to Queen Nefertari, Ramses beloved wife. 
Lunch in Abu Simbel the drive back to Aswan in late afternoon.

Day 6: Philae Temple

Wednesday 12th February 2025
Checkout from guesthouse.
Enjoy the grounds of the guesthouse on the edge of the Nile River before visiting Philae Temple 
This temple was dedicated to the goddess Isis, the wife of Osiris and mother of Horus.
Philae Temple represents the feminine and divine love.
Transfer to our luxurious Nile River Cruise, our floating hotel for the next 3 nights
Lunch onboard then free afternoon
Before dinner explore the local markets.

Day 7: Nile River Cruise

Thursday 13th February 2025
After an early morning sailing and breakfast on-board we visit Komombo, the dual temple of Horus & Sobek.
Here at Komombo we ask you to ponder your dualities, the good and the bad, the old and the new, the past and the present, the highs and the lows, the strengths and the weaknesses, the successes and lessons.
We return to our Cruise Boat and enjoy an afternoon sailing then Afternoon Tea on the Sun Deck.
Visit Edfu Temple (time will depend on sailing schedule)
Dress like an Egyptian at the Galabeya Party tonight hosted in the lounge on-board

Day 8: Nile River Cruise

Friday 14th February 2025
After lots of sites over the last few days we relax and enjoy the Nile, have a massage on board or enjoy a swim in the pool on the Sun-Deck.
After lunch we visit a local manufacturer of symbolic Egyptian Jewellery, you will be able to have your very own cartouche custom made or choose a pendant in the design of your favourite God or Goddess
Late afternoon, we will visit the magnificent Luxor Temple. 
Luxor Temple is a great temple complex in modern Luxor dedicated to Amun, a creator god often fused with the sun-god Ra into Amun-Ra. Luxor Temple is huge in scale, it once housed a village within its walls. Later additions include a shrine to Alexander the Great, a Roman sanctuary, and an Islamic shrine to a 13th-century holy man. Return to the boat for dinner & Belly Dance Show in the lounge.

Day 9: Valley of the Kings

Saturday 15th February 2025
OPTIONAL: Hot Air Balloon, float high above the Nile & Valley of the Kings.
Early breakfast, then disembark the Nile River Cruise.
Enjoy a visit to the Valley of the Kings. Climb down into the spectacularly decorated tombs of the Pharaohs.  Optional visit down into the tomb of King Tutankhamun 
After that, we visit the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut.  Hatshepsut is arguably one of the most formidable women in ancient Egypt. Hatshepsut was the first female ruler of ancient Egypt to reign as a male with the full authority of pharaoh.  
Valley of the Queens highlighting the ‘best of the best’ the Tomb of Queen Nefertari, considered to be the most beautiful in all of Egypt.
Visit local artisans who work with alabaster, creating masterpieces using the same techniques and tools as their ancestors.
Visit the Howard Carter Museum, complete with the replica of the Tomb of King Tutankhamun.
Before leaving the West Bank, we will enjoy lunch in a local restaurant

Day 10: Karnak Temple

Sunday 16th February 2025
EARLY START, Gates open at 6am and we like to be amongst the first to enjoy the silence and the sunrise.
Karnak Temple at the East bank of the River Nile, the temple complex is huge, covering an area of 1 ½ x 3 km dedicated to the Pharaoh Amun and was also the centre of his worship for his wife Mut and their son Khons. There are over 25 temples and chapels in the complex. 
The Karnak complex includes several of the finest examples of ancient Egyptian design and architecture. Among them is the Hypostyle Hall, considered one of the world’s great architectural achievements. 
It is filled with 134 enormous pillars, the highest 70 feet tall, and each about 45 feet around. 
Return to the hotel for late breakfast then relax and enjoy the hotel facilities. 
Lay by the pool or book in for a massage.
Late afternoon we will take a city walking tour for those who wish to see a bit more of the city. This is optional.

Day 11: Dendera- Temple of Hathor

Monday 17th February 2025
Breakfast at hotel then checkout.
Drive approx. 2 hours north to The Temple of Hathor, located in Dendera, a magnificent sight to explore with its main building virtually intact, with twisting stairways carved with hieroglyphs.
Hathor was also regarded as a goddess of healing, and this is evident in the presence of a sanatorium in the temple complex. Here, pilgrims would come to be cured by the goddess. Sacred water (which was made holy by having it poured onto statues inscribed with sacred texts) was used for bathing and sleeping quarters were provided for those hoping that the goddess would appear in their dreams, and so aid them. 
Continue driving north to the sacred town of Abydos. Considered the most religious of all the sites in Ancient times.

Day 12: Abydos Temple of Seti 1

Tuesday 18th February 2025
Early breakfast to visit temple at opening time, 8am
The Temple of Seti I is situated in Abydos, one of the most important archaeological sites of Ancient Egypt. Abydos is located in Upper Egypt, about 10 km from the Nile River. It was a necropolis for Egypt’s earliest kings and later became a pilgrimage centre for the worship of the god Osiris. It is also where the cults of the deified kings of ancient Egypt were celebrated.
Return to hotel for checkout
11am Enjoy light lunch at hotel before driving further north to Fayoum Oasis (approx 6 ½ hour drive)

Day 13: Fayoum Desert Experience

Valley of the Whales (Wadi El- Hitan) was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site owing to the important 40-million-year-old whale skeletons found there. A fossil remains of the first primitive whales and ancestors of the modern-day whales.
Valley of the whales is the most significant site in the world to demonstrate the evolution of whales.
The valley contains about 400 rare fossils of whales.
