Day 1: Arrival Day Cairo

Welcome to Egypt.
You will be met by our representative at Cairo Airport and assisted through arrivals. You will then be transferred to your hotel near the pyramids.
Overnight: Cairo

Day 2: Saqqara Giza Pyramids Sphinx

After breakfast, check out of your room and you will meet your Egyptologist/Tour Guide at the hotel to start the journey at the very beginning, the Step Pyramid at Saqqara, the first free standing building of stone in the whole world dating back to 2700 BC.
Lunch will be served at a local restaurant before we explore the Giza Plateau, your chance to personally stand where the Ancient Egyptians stood thousands of years ago, next to the Great Pyramid of Cheops, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World and the only one that still exists.
Optional visit to the Kings Chamber of Great Pyramid (extra ticket)
We continue our adventure with a camel ride through the Sahara for those who are interested (optional extra cost).
We finish our visit to the plateau with the Guardian Angel of the area, the monolithic and iconic Sphinx.
The day is not over yet, we will now experience how the ancients recorded their history on the first paper ever produced, Papyrus, at a government regulated Papyrus Institute.

Day 3: Museum and Markets

This morning you will check-out of your hotel.
Your guide will meet you at your hotel and get in amongst the crazy Cairo traffic, which is an experience in itself.
You will visit the thousands of treasures on display inside the Egyptian Museum, including the famous Golden Mask of King Tutankhamen, the youngest Pharaoh to rule Egypt. There are simply too many pieces to see in one visit but your guide will highlight some special artefacts and give you time to wander at your leisure. You will find items such as granite sarcophagus and perfectly sculptured giant statues to ancient tools, mummies, chariots and even some board games played by the Pharaoh's.
Your guide will then take you to Khan el Khalili Bazaar in Old Cairo to enjoy lunch in a local cafe then free time to wander the narrow streets and practice your bargaining skills with the local vendors.
Later this evening you will be transferred to Cairo Airport for your flight to Hurghada
Upon arrival in Hughada your Pink Lotus Tours representative will transfer you to your hotel and assist with check-in.

Day 4: Hurghada Red Sea

Today is free time or choose optional tour
OPTIONAL: Enjoy a “Bedouin Dinner Safari”, our representative will transfer you by 4x4 jeep to a Safari Bedouin camp and back, enjoy camel ride and sunset B.B.Q dinner
Transfer back to hotel for overnight
Overnight: Hurghada

Day 5: Hurghada Red Sea

Free day or you can choose optional excursion like Snorkeling trip at Giftun Island or Glass Bottom Boat
Overnight: Hurghada

Day 6: Red Sea to Cairo

After breakfast fly back to Cairo, free afternoon or choose optional experience like visit Khan el Khalili market or one of our Cairo Day Tours.
For dinner you may like to take an optional Nile River Dinner Cruise
