Day 3: Abu Simbel

Thursday 31 October - Abu Simbel.
After breakfast we drive to Abu Simbel.
This temple was built for Queen Nefertari, or was it just dedicated to her by Ramses II?
Researchers believe that this temple is far older than what we think.
The temple is carved into a sandstone rock cliff. It is dedicated to Amun, Ra-Horakhty, and Ptah.
This temple is aligned in such a way that twice a year the first rays of the rising sun penetrate the temple, through the vestibule and into the sanctuary.
Next to it is a smaller temple dedicated to Hathor.
Enjoy lunch before returning to Aswan
Meals: Breakfast & Lunch

Day 4: New moon in Aswan

Friday 1 November - Elephantine Island and Temple of Aset (Isis)- New Moon.
We will take a felucca boat ride to Elephantine Island.
The Pyramid Texts say that the water of the Nile, and particularly that of the inundation, was considered to come forth from Nun at Elephantine. Nun can be seen as the first neter (force of nature) and the creator of reality and personification of the cosmos.
We will explore the site that was dedicated to the neter Khnum.
Khnum was originally thought to rule over all water.
We will also explore the very ancient temple of Satet. This temple was aligned with the heliacal rising of Sirius with the Sun which marked a time of great celebration of the annual flooding of the Nile.
It is believed that the Ark of the Covenant was also hidden on this island.
We will visit the pyramid of Elephantine, which is part of a group of seven very similar small step pyramids. The orientation of this pyramid is also to Sirius.
We will then check into our Dahabiya boat and have lunch.  A Dahabiya is a type of sailboat.
After lunch we will take a motorboat to Agilkia Island to visit the Temple of Aset (Isis). (Philae Temple)
Originally on Philae Island, this temple was moved with the construction of the Aswan Dam.
The initiation of the ancient Egyptian New Year was held at this temple as well as the celebrations of the annual heliacal rising of the star Sirius. This was a time of huge rebirthing celebrations that everyone participated in.
The new moon is at 2:47pm.
If everyone wants to, we can come together to do ceremony for the new moon that night on the boat.
Overnight onboard Dahabeya
Meals: Breakfast Lunch & Dinner

Day 5: Komombo Temple

Saturday 2 November – Kom Ombo Temple.
After breakfast on-board we visit Kom Ombo, the dual temple of Horus the Elder and Sobek the crocodile neter.
Sobek represents the dark and Horus the light. Sobek’s half of the temple houses the negative pole and Horus’s half the positive pole. These poles of polarity are in perfect balance. At the central line of the temple the positive and negative charges are neutralized to create a unified field of neutrality.
The nature of the universe is always seeking harmony; it is always seeking unity.
In the sanctuary of the temple is the Seat of Neutrality. We will connect to this sacred land with intention to unify the positive and negative poles. This temple has been built over an earlier structure.
Overnight onboard Dahabeya
Meals: Breakfast Lunch & Dinner

Day 6: Edfu Temple

Sunday 3 November - Edfu Temple.
Next, we will visit the Edfu Temple, the temple dedicated to Horus. Horus is associated with higher vision and clarity.
This temple embodies much knowledge and wisdom. It was built during Ptolemaic times. But again, it was built on top of a much older ancient structure.
Edfu houses the famous Building Texts that are said to tell the story of ‘Zep Tepi’ or the first time.
There are elements within this temple that point to legends of cataclysm, Atlantis, the Ark of the Covenant, and tales of the Shemsu Hor. They are said to be demigods that lived for 6,000 years between the reign of the gods and the first Pharaohs
Overnight onboard Dahabeya
Meals: Breakfast Lunch & Dinner

Day 7: Esna Temple-Luxor Temple

Monday 4 November - Esna and Luxor Temples.
The Temple of Esna is dedicated to the neter Khnum, along with his consorts. Also, to Heka, and the great mother Neith.
Neith was said to be the first and the prime creator, who created the universe and all it contains.
An interior wall records an account of creation in which Neith brings forth the Nun, the first land, from the primeval waters.
In the temple it was also proposed that Khnum created the “First Egg” from which the sun was born.
This structure contains amazing astrological displays on its ceiling. The solar, stellar and lunar depictions are some of the most beautiful symbolic images.
The current temple was built on the site of a much older temple.
In the afternoon we will go to Luxor Temple known as the Temple of Man. It is located to the south of Karnak Temple and linked with a processional way bordered with sphinxes.
Overnight onboard Dahabeya
Meals: Breakfast Lunch & Dinner

Day 8: Karnak Temple,- Tomb of Nefertari

Tuesday 5 November - Karnak and the Tomb of Queen Nefertari.
Optional: Hot Air Balloon, float high above the Nile and Valley of the Kings.
Optional visit to a local alabaster factory and crystal shop.
Karnak Temple is dedicated to Amun, his consort Mut and their son, Khonsu. Sprawling around 5 acres, we will spend the whole morning at the site.
As Luxor temple has been called the Temple of Man, many believe that Karnak was once considered the Temple of the Universe.
The Ptah temple houses the Chapel of Sekhmet, which is home to one of the most ancient statues still standing in its original spot. Sekhmet is the powerful lioness who appears to many to be alive. We will spend some time here with Ptah and Sekhmet.
We will also go to the Precinct of Mut which has a crescent lake, temple, birthing house and many statues of Sekhmet.
In the afternoon we will go to Valley of the Queens to see Nefertari’ s tomb which is known as the ‘House of Eternity and her name is said to mean ‘the most beautiful’.
She was the first and most beloved of the many Queens of Rameses II.
Overnight onboard Dahabeya
Meals: Breakfast Lunch & Dinner

Day 9: Dendera Temple

Wednesday 6 November - Dendera Temple.
DISEMBARK DAHABEYA
After breakfast we travel to Dendera Temple, the magnificent temple dedicated to Hathor.
Hathor was known as the Lady of the Stars and represents the womb that gives birth to our perception of time and space. As the ‘Eye of Ra’ she represents the nurturing rays of the Sun.
Underneath the entrance gate into the Dendera complex is the only place you will see the underbelly of the winged scarab beetle.
Indigenous wisdom keeper, Abd’el Hakim Awyan said that this meant you would be entering a place that held the answers to all the mysteries of the universe.
The temple is built with a zodiac ceiling that recalls the origins of the world. It is also home to the great neter Nut who was the mother of creation.
The most distinctive parts of the temple are the fourteen crypts, of which eleven were decorated. These areas were devoted to Lunar aspects of nature and their symbolism contains many keys to the ancient mysteries of Egypt. The most well-known crypt holds the famous ‘lightbulb’ imagery that speaks to the birth of the universe.
Hathor tells us that she is the Alpha and Omega, all that is, all that was, and all that ever shall be. This temple again was built on the site of a much older temple.
Drive to Abydos and stay overnight at the House of Life.
Meals: Breakfast & Dinner

10

Day 10: Abydos

Thursday 7 November – Abydos.
Abydos has been a sacred site to the Egyptians since predynastic times.
Wepwawet, the jackal-headed neter, held it sacred and it was believed that he “opened the way” to the world of the dead through Abydos.
The necropolis is a place of pilgrimage and burial and at least ten temples were originally constructed here.
Among those ten temples, three remain that are of special note. These include the Temple of Seti I, the Osirion and the Ramses II Temple. The Ramses Temple was also called the “Portal Temple”.
The Seti 1 temple consists of a pylon, two open courts, two hypostyle halls, and seven sanctuaries. Most temples only have one sanctuary. There are many doors and stargates in this temple.
The Osirion is found next to the Temple of Seti 1.
*Depending on the number of people in the group we might be able to get private access into the Osirion.
Transfer to Luxor airport for our flight to Cairo.
Transfer from airport and check-in to Cairo hotel
Meals: Breakfast

Day 11: Meidum Pyramid - Dahshur Pyramids

Friday 8 November – Meidum Pyramid, Dahshur
To follow the flow of the river we will be picking up the journey at the Meidum Pyramid.
The Meidum pyramid was named “Sneferu Endures”.
Sneferu is connected to three pyramids - Meidum, Bent, and the Red Pyramid.
From Abd’el Hakim Awyan – “We call these constructions, in that area at Dahshur, related to King called Seneferu (Snefru). Now, when you come to the word Sneferu – sen means ‘double’, nefer means ‘harmony’, so it means ‘double harmony’. It’s not the name of a person – it is the energy we get from this construction! The Bent Pyramid – it has two chambers for two different sounds.”
In Mastaba 17 next to the Meidum Pyramid there is a granite box that is bigger, thicker, and heavier than the one in the Great Pyramid. The walls are smooth like inside the Great Pyramid. We will hopefully be able to spend some time here.
Lunch
Visit Red and Bent Pyramid. Access to pyramids is possible but requires a reasonable level of fitness and not recommended if you are claustrophobic.
Meals: Breakfast & Lunch

12

Day 12: Saqqara - Giza Pyramid

Saturday 9 November – Saqqara Giza plateau.
After breakfast we will head out to Saqqara.
At Saqqara the courtyard is much older than pyramid itself. If you look at the pyramid and look at the wall of the courtyard you can see the difference. The line of construction – like three chambers – is what’s left of the House of Spirit, and it’s a healing system with the sound.
We will visit the Serapeum which is a huge subterranean complex. It has a long hallway that runs in east/west directions and is flanked by chambers that house gigantic, highly crystalline stone boxes.
We will also enter the Unas pyramid, which contains the earliest known Pyramid Texts.
The Pyramid Texts are said to be magical writings to assist the Pharaoh on his journey into the after world where he hopes to become an akh, or light body’.
Then we will take time to explore the Giza plateau and go inside the Great Pyramid. (optional extra ticket)
Abd’el Hakim Awyan said that pyramids were once called Per Neteru, or ‘Houses of Nature or Energy’. Site locations in ancient times were chosen for their powerful geomagnetic currents which enabled them to harness, amplify and radiate this extraordinary energy with the incredible structures they built on them.
Hakim stated that the Giza pyramids are harmonic structures that benefitted from the combined use of sound, light and subterranean running water that created fields of force.
We will visit the Valley Temple in front of the Sphinx which due to the type of construction could have been built around the same time as the Osirion in Abydos.
The Sphinx has been said to represent the first breath of life on earth at the first time, or Zep Tepi.
If we have enough people, we can have private access between the paws of the sphinx.
Meals: Breakfast & Lunch

13

Day 13: Bahariya Oasis

Sunday 10 November - Bahariya Oasis
Checkout of the hotel and it is about a four-hour drive to Bahariya Oasis.
The Western Desert used to be where the Ur Nil was – an ancient river.
Salt Lakes, Sand Dunes, Gebel Maghrafa, Mountain of the Ladle, Dist Mountain, Bir Sigam Hot Springs.
Meals: Breakfast Lunch & Dinner

14

Day 14: Crystal Mountain

Monday 11 November – Black Desert and Crystal Mountain - 11/11 portal.
The black desert was formed over thousands of years by the volcanic activity that took place in the area. Now, it is covered with black stones of hardened lava. In some places, you can see majestic hills covered with black stones. Other parts are large plains with orange to brown terrains.
You can climb up one of the highest peaks to get a panoramic view of the whole site of the Black Desert Bahariya Oasis, enjoy the wonderful views of its strange landscape, and observe the iron composition of the black stones.
The Crystal Mountain is a subvolcanic vault, filled with crystals of a hydrothermal event. It is made up of barite and/or calcite crystals.
The Crystal Mountain is situated between the Baharyia Oasis and the Farafra Oasis, in the White Desert’s North. Despite its name, the Crystal Mountain is rather a ridge and caves.
As we will be out in the desert, we can do a ceremony here for the 11/11 portal.
The crystal beings can assist us with the work that we need to do for this portal. Barite acts as a magnet to high frequency energy. It is also believed to activate and clear blockages in the upper chakras allowing for a stronger connection to intuitive abilities. Calcite is a powerful amplifier and cleanser of energy.
There is also an energy grid that connects the Crystal Mountain to Silbury Hill, Avebury in the UK.
Meals: Breakfast Lunch & Dinner

15

Day 15: White Desert

Tuesday 12 November – Djara Cave and White Desert.
The cave is easy to visit as it has a level floor-entry, covered with sand of the desert.
The cave is famous for its rock art and its chambers are full of beautiful stalactites and stalagmites.
Then to the White Desert where millions of years ago the desert was a seabed. Layers of sedimentary rock were exposed when the ocean retreated, and a plateau broke down. Some stone formations resisted time’s changes, giving the White Desert its distinct features and charm.
Limestone figures are seen dotting the chalk-white landscape in any part of the desert. The mushroom-shaped formations are 3-4.5 metres tall. Wind and sand over thousands of years fashioned beautiful forms - domes, minarets, castles, rabbits and turtles that mark the White Desert.
We will also visit the Santa Acacia Tree, the ancient Egyptian Tree of Life. Considered to be a magic tree that has thrived for hundreds of years.
Drive back to Cairo for a farewell dinner.
